The Albert Schulte Park was originally laid out in 1840 as a "new cemetery". In the course of the railway station extension, it became a park from 1874. Remnants of the cemetery's use can still be seen today. The large area offered by this park is excellent for running around with the children or simply for taking a walk.
There is a fountain with flowerbeds directly at the entrance/exit of the park. From there you can get directly to the central bus station (ZOB) and the main railway station. The pedestrian zone "KW" (Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße) is only a few steps away.
