This green space with wonderful flowerbeds and softly splashing fountains is an invitation to linger. It runs along a well-preserved section of the medieval city wall and past the cathedral and the Heylshof (from where it is worth making a detour into the Heylshof Gardens) to the Luther Monument, and then beyond that to the 118 monument (a memorial to the Infantry Regiment 118, which was stationed in Worms). Situated between the pedestrian zones Obermarkt and Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße (known as KW), this is an ideal place for a “breather” when you are strolling around the city centre.
