In 1911, a mourning hall was inaugurated on the Israelite part of the "new municipal cemetery". It was built in the finest Art Nouveau style according to plans by the city architect and Georg Metzler. The Jewish cemetery is directly adjacent to today's main cemetery in Worms-Hochheim (popularly known as "Hochheimer Höh") and has its own entrance in Eckenbertstraße.
